Our application process

Please submit your application – including unsolicited applications – exclusively via the application form on our careers page. For data protection reasons (GDPR), we kindly ask you not to send applications by post.

Here you can find out what to expect after your application. However, there may be small differences from job to job.

Schritt 1
Application Submitted

Have you found your ideal job? Simply apply using our online form. All we need is your name and an e-mail address. Optionally, you can also send us a short CV. You will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail.

Schritt 2
Application registered

We have received your application. We usually get back to you within seven days. If your profile matches an open position, we will invite you to a remote call via MS Teams. Even if it's not a 100% fit at the moment, you will receive prompt feedback.

Schritt 3
Interview Sessions

We were enthusiastic about your profile! We will invite you to another interview - this can take place remotely or in our office. Depending on the position, we usually schedule one or two more interviews. We not only want to get to know you better, but also give you the opportunity to get to know your future team and experience our day-to-day work.

Schritt 4
Trial Work / Case Study

In certain areas, such as logistics and retail, you'll have the opportunity to participate in trial work shifts. In other fields, like purchasing or marketing, you might be presented with a case study. This process allows us to appreciate your strengths, identify areas for growth, and most importantly, gives you a solid glimpse into your future workday.

Schritt
Feedback / Offer

Almost there: If we believe we're a great fit, we'll make you an offer and discuss all the details. Even if it's not a match, you'll receive personalized feedback.

Schritt
Onboarding

Once everything is clear, we will prepare the contract, which you will then receive by mail. At the same time, we will prepare your onboarding together with the business department. Then it's time to say: ‘Welcome to the team!’.

Any Questions left?

Here you will find a small selection of frequently asked questions. If your question is not included, please contact us!

Can I also submit an speculative application?
Sure, you can also send us an speculative application here. We can then look together to see if we can find a suitable position for you. If there is currently no opportunity, we can also add you to our talent pool and contact you when new jobs open up.
I don't fulfil all the requirements, should I still apply?
By all means! Even if you only fulfil 60-70% of the requirements, you can still apply. We will then check during the application process whether this could still be a good fit. However, above all, you should be interested in the job and have the general expertise - we are more flexible when it comes to the details (specific programmes, systems, etc.).
How long does the application process at BIKE24 take?
You will usually receive initial feedback within 7 days of your application. The entire application process is usually completed within a month. Of course, it can also happen that we need a little longer in certain cases, but rarely more than two months.
Are there specific deadlines for applications?
As a rule, there are no deadlines. We accept applications as long as the position is online. For certain apprenticeship positions, however, we may only be able to consider applications up to a certain deadline.
What kind of application documents are required?
A short CV is usually enough for us - we can avoid long cover letters. We get to know your motivation much better in an interview. In a first step, you can also apply without a resume / CV. If you only have this to hand later, for example, you can submit it to us later.
Are there opportunities for young professionals?
That depends very much on the job in question. For certain areas and jobs, we primarily need the support of experienced professionals. For others, a recent degree is sufficient or we don't need any professional experience at all. The best thing to do is to read the job requirements carefully, as they specify the skills required in each case.
Are there opportunities for internships or apprenticeship programmes?
Yes, we actually offer both apprenticeships (for example in bicycle assembly) and dual study programmes (in IT) every year. Internships are also possible, provided we have the capacity to supervise them. The best way for us to find out is for you to send us an proactive application stating the desired department and period of the internship.
