Whether it's changes in the order, questions about the order status, technical problems or specific product advice - the tasks are varied. With a good portion of creativity, our service department always finds an answer.

Your new challenge:

To expand the market for our Dutch-speaking customers, we are looking for a customer service representative with a fluent Dutch language who is also a bike enthusiast with great interest in bikes or with an already existing good basic knowledge of bike parts and components. A direct link to our customers, complex questions and your professional answers, trainings and personal development await you within this new challenge. 

  • Our customers with their diverse questions are both an incentive and a challenge for you. You are their first point of contact and problem solver.
  • As a customer advisor, you will contribute with your positive personality to the communication and inform our customers via telephone and email about all questions regarding product advice, the order process, invoicing and much more.
  • You will handle claims and find the best possible solutions to products that our customers are not satisfied with.
  • To do this, you will use the extensive decision-making powers assigned to you to bring quick and satisfying solutions for our customers.
  • You learn new things every day and become a master of diversity with our team.
  • Together with us, you will expand BIKE24's excellent reputation in the Dutch market. 

Your Skills:

  • We are looking for a language expert and bike and/or sports enthusiast who is willing to let his/her passion flow into this new job.
  • You are a very good Dutch speaker, ideally native speaker, with excellent communication skills and experience in the field of customer assistance.
  • You already have a good basic knowledge of bike parts and bike components or at least a profound interest in the matter.
  • You can handle incoming customer contacts (via telephone, e-mail or other channels) while creating and logging tickets into the system.
  • You have C1 or native level of Dutch.
  •  You have at least a B2 Level of English.
  • A plus, not a must: you can communicate very well in French, Spanish, Italian and/or German.

Step 1

This is the first step, and you will receive a confirmation of receipt from us by email.

Step 2

We have received your application and are now reviewing all documents. We will usually contact you within seven days. If we think you could be a good fit for one of our open positions, we will send you an invitation for the remote initial call via MS Teams. You will be sent a link where you can book your preferred date in our calendar.
This way we avoid endless discussions about appointments. And even if your profile is not 100% suitable at the moment, you will of course receive a response as soon as possible.

Step 3

Your profile has convinced us! In the next step, we invite you to a remote interview about MS Teams with the business unit. Our goal is to get to know you, your skills and motivation even better. 
Be yourself - a little bit of excitement is completely normal - but we will try to take it away from you in a relaxed atmosphere. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! After all, we want you to get a good impression of us and your future job.

Step 4

In the logistics, customer service, finance, purchasing and retail departments, there will also be a trial work experience. Here we can see your strengths live, identify learning areas and, above all, give you a solid impression of your future day-to-day work.

Step 5

The application process is now almost over. If we are convinced that we are a good match, we will make you an offer. We clarify all the important conditions and briefly look back at the exchange so far. If everything is clear, we will send you the contract and prepare your onboarding. Welcome to the team!
